Destiny:

I.C.E. William Poole rules the Triumphant American Empire with the savvy of the snake oil salesman his great-great grandfather was.  Using the wealth within which he was born, Poole created a vast and powerful network of businesses which came to dominate the financial, security, entertainment and food industries.  Fashioning himself champion of the common man, he convinced enough of a frightened population to entrust him with the executive powers to restore the country to a mythical magnificence.  Using trumped-up accusations, he imprisons his enemies and further humiliates them by forcing participation in The Last Prisoner Show.

Malaya is known as Prisoner Omega  800-24, the last prisoner of the Omega Prison surviving The Last Prisoner Show. Malaya came from a family of strong values, education, and art - including ballet. Her parents revolted the new government and their rules, their home was raided, and all were taken away. Young Malaya was taken to an orphanage, which eventually lead her to the Omega Prison, where she battles for her life.

The grim, enigmatic facilitator and referee of the life or death contests on The Last Prisoner Show. The Guard will kill without mercy or prolong a prisoner's suffering in order to generate increased ratings for the show.  But The Guard is also a prisoner of his own circumstances. If his personal ratings slip, his life is also forfeit. ?

The host of The Last Prisoner Show - one of the most recognized personalities in the Triumphant American Empire. Erin is, herself, a former prisoner and Champion survivor of the Last Prisoner Show. She is an extremely high functioning sociopath who completely lacks empathy for everyone she encounters and will do anything to maintain her hard won status.

A nine-year-old girl living in a controlled and conformed Empire is forced to learn how to push back her expression. Taken from her performing parents as a toddler, she is assigned to an evil and twisted maniac. Erin Guidry, a sociopath who survived the brutal games and is now your host on The Last Prisoner Show. Omega 800-24 peaks an interest on her and of the world before the new government took over when she chooses freedom on her own terms instead of a death sentence.

Santa Fe Community College is possibly the best film school you’ve NEVER heard of.  We at SFCC strive to allow students to create and tell stories that come from unheard and underrepresented voices.  At SFCC students have access to state-of-the-art equipment; both in production and post-production, and our faculty are still working filmmakers, bringing up-to-date info and experience to the classroom.
As part of Film Crew 3, these student filmmakers conceived, developed, wrote, produced and directed this very challenging and dramatic series
Santa Fe Community College’s Film Department is proud to announce the production of “THE LAST PRISONER.”  This four part dystopian science fiction web series is the creation of our capstone production class, Film Crew 3.
Film Crew 3 is the most challenging class most of our students have ever taken.  This class combines both their vast life experiences as well as their academic knowledge.  The instructors try to keep Film Crew 3 as close to industry demands as possible—this class is not for the faint of heart.
